Pet Friendly Job/Career
Position: Personal Assistant Apprentice/Internship to grow with the company.
Do you enjoy talking, learning about and working with pets of all shapes and sizes? Prior experience is not necessary. We will train an energetic, enthusiastic, willing to learn and grow with the company pet loving individual. This is an entry level long-term, part-time position with serious potential for growth to a full-time position for the right candidate. Our goal is to find someone that can learn the skills of the business and assist us in a wide array of various multi-tasking duties.
We are looking for an enthusiastic pet lover that is looking for part time work on a contract basis for about 4-6 months helping out as a personal assistant and based on performance will lead to advancement opportunities learning the skills of leather work, candle making and running a pet care business.
The normal schedule is 4-8 hours per week, with various days Mon-Fri being the primary days, but it is possible that you could work double or even triple the hours especially around holiday seasons. Typical hours are in 4-hour shifts. We are willing to work around an existing class or work schedule.
Location: Keller, Tx
Compensation: $30-$60/wk
Hours: 4-8 hrs a wk starting out. [ 1 - 2 Days a Week ]
Requirements:
• A genuine interest in people and their pets.
• Reliable insured transportation.
• Ability to multi-task efficently.
• An active email account, cell phone and consistent access to a personal computer, for the purpose of communication.
• Ability to take and follow directions successfully.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs stand on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• You must be able to work at least 2 days a week.
• You should enjoy working with your hands to build/create things.
• You cannot be afriad to get dirty or do manual labor.
• You MUST be comfortable with pets of all shapes and sizes, this includes ALL breeds of dogs.
Responsibilities - Various Tasks including but not limited to:
• General office work on a PC
• Pet Care & Clean Up
• Dog Walking
• Running Misc. Errands
• Clean Up & Organization
• Yard Clean Up
• Learning Leathercraft Skills
• Learning the business to personally assist owners with all tasks and responsibilities of running the business.
